If you’re moving or replacing your heating system, here is what you should do
I decided to change my old heating system for a new one. Will tiko still be compatible?
If you decide to change your old heating system for one of the one in the list below, tiko will be compatible:
I own my house and plan to move, what should I do?
If you decide to move, and you own your house, you can check with the buyers if they want to keep tiko. If it's the case, you can contact us, and we'll register them. If they do not wish to keep tiko, please inform us and we'll come to uninstall our equipment. If the heating system of your new home is compatible, we'll happily install tiko at your new residence.
I rent and I plan to move, what should I do?
If you rent your house: since the owner of the heating systems gave his approval to tiko installation, you can leave the equipment. You will need to make sure the new tenants know how to use tiko, and contact us to transfer your account to them. If the heating system of your new home is compatible, we'll happily create a new account for you, and install tiko at your new residence.
Can I pause my participation with tiko?
You have full control at all times over the tiko solution and the possibility to pause your participation for a certain amount of time.
Can my heating system be shut down during summer time?
You can still shut down your heating system during the summer months. Nevertheless we would like to ask you to keep the installation of the communication module (M-Box) and the remove control (K-Box) as it is, to ensure your connection.
